At Making Thyme Kitchen, every thing we sell is made by us, in our kitchen in Alger Heights. We make our sauces, marinades, and stocks from scratch because often what we leave out is what matters most—extra salt, hidden sugars, additives like msg, and hidden fats.
We use whole fresh foods from local sources whenever possible: dried beans from Howard City, Sobie Meats in Walker and of course fresh Michigan produce in season. We work with lean proteins, fruits and vegetables, nuts, whole grains, legumes and low-fat dairy.
We shop daily to buy our fresh ingredients and pick our produce by hand. This insures that our ingredients are fresh and we don’t waste food. At Making Thyme Kitchen, we are proud of what we do and the foods we prepare. We don’t hide our kitchen, you can see where your food is made and who is making it. Stop in, take a look and have a chat.
You can pickup any of our freshly prepared foods from our store in Alger Heights located at 2409 Eastern Ave SE Grand Rapids, MI 49507. Every day we stock fresh entrées and side dishes. Our deli case is always full of our heat and eat items, fresh salads and vegetable dishes. We also have frozen entrées.
Monday thru Friday from 10am – 6:30pm
Saturday from 10am – 2pm
Closed on Sunday.
Our fresh and frozen products are offered on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to reserve an entrée, side dish or something from our deli case for pickup, please call us at 616.406.8511 and we will have it ready for you.
Parking is free in Alger Heights. Park on the street in front of our store or in the public lot behind us. The public lot is accesed both from Alger Ave. and Eastern Ave. We have a front and back entrance.
